Inquiring minds want to know. We have not been able to get our sources to confirm anything about this, although there have been discussions apparently in the works for some time.
The Duchess loves her father. She has had a very difficult time dealing with what she feels is betrayal by her father. But she loves her dad very much and she cries a lot about what has happened to their relationship.
She and Harry have discussed having him come to their home in Montecito for a weekend to visit with the children, privately.
They are afraid that it will become a media circus and so this is very confidential and even if it does happen, the media will hopefully find out after the fact.
Meghan and her dad have always had a challenging relationship, in part because they are both very stubborn people. Ironically; Meghan gets a lot of her strength from her father Thomas. He raised her to be fearless. But he has always been insensitive in other ways that Meghan needed him to be sensitive. There is a lot. A lot of issues that are really not the business of anyone in the public sphere.
Suffice it to say that Meghan loves her dad very much and she is thinking about arranging a meeting in Montecito with him and the kids. She is very afraid that her siblings will alert the press about it and create a circus and bad energy around it. She wants to have a quiet and private meeting with her father. There has been a lot of hurt. On both sides. But in the end, he is her father and she is very aware of this. She owes a lot of who she is to her dad. Especially her grit. She owes a lot to her mom too. She is a lucky girl. She loves both of her parents. But there has been a lot of hurt.
