Yesterday, I listened to Meghan's latest podcast with Paris Hilton where they discussed the "bimbo" label. I have always marveled at how Paris just turned that whole situation into money. I think she is absolutely genius the way she did that. She laughed all the way to the bank while her critics struggled to make their car payments.
Meghan can learn a lot from Paris. It is not easy to be the butt of jokes and the object of people's hatred and vitriol. But while it lasts, it is so important to reframe that and turn it into something tangible and usable, and good - like money.
People decry wealth, but they are hypocrites. If you were to give these same people unlimited wealth, very few would turn it down and most would hoard it for themselves.
Wealth enables you to help others. Meghan and Harry are two people who can handle a lot of wealth because they know how to share it so that everyone can find a way to succeed.
Paris Hilton was already wealthy when she blew up as a reality TV star, and then a DJ and other things, like a perfumer. Is that even a word? Paris does all these perfumes. It is a matter of time before Meghan comes out with her own perfect fragrance. I don't think she should call it "Meghan." But she should instead call it something classic, timeless and transferable. I also do not think she should make as many fragrances as Paris. But she definitely should come out with something very classic, and based on her carefree life in California. Maybe, like, Cali Girl.
But I digress. This is about Paris Hilton's interview with Meghan on the Archewell/Archetypes podcast. I love Paris. I have always seen that she has a vulnerable side and I have always hated how she was treated by the media and used by some of her so-called friends to gain fame. And I have always marveled at her strength. She never went to sit in a corner and mope when the media turned on her. She kept on. She did her thing. When the Kardashians took over her ideas and made millions while she was sidelined, Paris just kept smiling and being positive, and doing her thing. And she is still doing it. She displays no animosity toward anyone. She even invited the Kardashians to her wedding. I admire that. In a real way, Paris and Meghan are quite similar. They are two very strong, though imperfect young women. Kudos to them both.
