Meghan's Retake of her Narrative Throws Social Media for a Loop
So, Duchess Meghan has gone back to her Hollywood roots and her critics are crying foul. The former actress had left her Hollywood ambitions to run off to the UK to marry a prince. But somewhere along the way, the newly minted princess realized she was not happy and she and her prince decided to move back to her old haunts in Hollywood California.
Before becoming a princess, Meghan had a website called the Tig where she showcased her fabulous dreamgirl life as an up-and-coming actress. She showed fashion, food, travel, lifestyle, and wisdom on her site. In fact, she even had collaborations with a Canadian designer, and she modeled for them, and she basically was just this beautiful Hollywood goddess in the making.
After she went over to the UK, they began to turn her into a grannie. All her dresses became long and matronly. The Queen even tried to get her to choose a beige or light brown wedding dress rather than a white one, given that the youthful actress had been married once before. She had to think about everything she wore so that she did not clash with, or outshine her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton - who needs to be the star.
In the interceding years that followed her bolt from this circumstance in the UK, the Duchess has largely been strapped on a gurney while the public and media pelted her with their frustrations, anger, and judgment. But recently, she decided to retake her own narrative, by doing an interview and photo shoot with Variety. The thing was beautiful. It was the old Meghan, straight outta the Tig!
The strangest thing happened, though. Youtube and hate media accused her of trying to "rebrand" and they have been excoriating her for days on end about it. Like, literally, they are in full meltdown mode for days!!!
Bring it on, Meghan. Give us more of that stuff you just gave us. Vintage Meghan. Beautiful, carefree, happy, stylish, domestic goddess, mommy, wife, chatelain, Hollywood princess, and with a little bit of Duchess thrown in. She's baaaaaack!
We are all bubbling over. Let's break out the champagne!!!
