Just heard on youtube from a channel that strongly supports Harry and Meghan that the Duke and a few other celebrities such as Sadie Frost and Elton John have launched a lawsuit against Daily Mail for criminal invasion of privacy or something of that nature.
Apparently, they are alleging that the paper routinely hires private investigators and poseurs to bug their phones, listen in to their conversations and do things like obtaining banking and healthcare information using fraudulent means.
OMG. This sounds scary. I have always worried about videos of Meghan actually in the throes of giving birth coming out. I am sure there is always someone who is disreputable and dishonorable enough to do something like that for the right amount of money.
I would imagine that many families have filmed these types of events so it is not like it would be so weird to point a camera in these zones. But this is a privacy and personal choice, and clearly would not be intended for public consumption. In the event something like that happens, the hospital would probably cease to exist because Harry would sue them for every penny they have, but what would that matter if they invade Meghan to that extent, you know? The money would not fix that at all.
As for the Daily Mail, I don't read that too much as they have a lot of pop-ups that just drive me crazy so I cannot get through an article on that site so I don't even bother. And honestly, I thought it was Sky News Australia that was the worst of all. I guess I was mistaken.
