Harry and Meghan to Receive Humanitarian Award From Kennedy Foundation in December 2022

It is not just me who admires the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their positive vibes and good works. Such a relief to know that I am not totally alone in recognizing how inspirational these two people are. It is not just about the power and status they exude. It is the heart of these two that is so inspiring.

As it turns out, they are receiving yet another award this year. This one is from the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Organization in New York and the couple will be honored at the award ceremony/gala in Manhattan on December 6, 2022. I wonder what the Duchess will wear? If I could be an armchair stylist, I think she should wear something white. With one shoulder. A white, one-shouldered gown.....whatever she wears will be stunning. But of course, the focus is the award, not the fashion. I know that.

The Ripple of Hope Award is given to recipients like former President Barack Obama, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other esteemed individuals in recognition of their humanitarian work. The award was created in 1984 by the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial to "honor individuals around the world who show courage and have made a significant contribution to human rights in their country."

According to the Foundation, the Sussexes will be given the award for "their work on racial justice, mental health, and other social impact initiatives through their Archewell Foundation.” According to Town And Country Magazine:

"RFK Human Rights highlighted Archwell's work on initiatives ranging from supporting Afghan refugees to speaking out about mental health stigma, campaigning for paid parental leave, championing COVID vaccine access, collaborating with organizations on the ground in Ukraine, and working with the NAACP."

It is rather impressive the number of causes the Duke and Duchess have already supported through Archewell. They are such good people and they were born to do great things together as soulmates.

The Duke and Duchess will be honored with other impressive guests, including, apparently, the current president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
