Meghan Duchess of Sussex and her husband Harry Duke of Sussex have parted ways with their PR firm Sunshine Sachs. According to multiple accounts, Meghan had been working with the public relations firm before she met her husband, and while she was still an actress on Suits.
She continued the working relationship after her marriage however, it is believed that Meghan and Harry decided to part ways with the firm because they believed that the firm was no longer worth the high commissions they had to pay.
The whole point of having a PR firm is to have someone help you improve your public image. Meghan and Harry are public figures for whom "popularity" is very important. It is no secret that following the couple's decision to step down from royal duties in 2019, they have fallen out of favor with the British public. Meghan has a net popularity rating almost lower than Prince Andrew who recently settled a sexual assault on a minor lawsuit. This means that even criminals have higher popularity in England than the Duchess who has worked tirelessly all her life to fight for the rights of women.
It is not clear what Sunshine and Sachs could do to rightsize this situation Meghan finds herself in but if they are unable to do anything, what is the point of paying them the big bucks? We are not experts on PR over here but even we have come up with this article about ways Meghan can counter negativity in the press and in society 10 Ways Meghan Markle Can Deal With The Constant Hate, Negativity and Bullying & Remain Positive (meghanandharryadvisors.blogspot.com). This is not to say that this article would improve her favorability ratings but certainly, it is a question of brainstorming to come up with ideas to help the Duchess and Sunshine and Sachs just do not seem to have been making the grade.
However, it is alleged that the couple and the PR firm parted on amicable terms.
The Style Icon Duchess would be smart to hire us as her personal advisor to help her improve her situation in England!
