Meghan's Collaboration with Shoe Designer Paul Andrew Needs to Happen

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is very timid when it comes to collaborating with brands. Understandably, she does not want to do anything to upset the Queen or the monarchy back over in England. However, she needs to get over it because she is no longer beholden to the Queen who, sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. As for her responsibilities to the monarchy, she needs to take that with a grain of salt because the power players at the monarchy have been very clear where she stands in the monarchy and in the royal family.

Meghan is not a "senior royal." This really hit home when, during the celebrations of the Queen's demise, both she and her husband Harry Duke of Sussex were disinvited to a reception for VIPs and global leaders. The reason proffered was that she and Harry are no longer "senior royals."

That being the case, she needs to work for a living. It is clear she enjoys earning her keep. She needs to free herself and liberate herself and give herself permission to be an entrepreneur, and to fully embrace that status, though. She needs to stop being afraid.

The Duchess is probably worried about what her critics will think if she collaborates with too many brands. She has to understand that her critics typically are not her fans and they do not wish her well. They will just as soon see her penniless, homeless, and dirty than to see her enjoy success and abundance. They use psychology a lot on Meghan and her husband so that on the one hand, they criticize them for being freeloaders when they were living at Frogmore Cottage but then when Meghan and Harry paid for Frogmore and let Beatrice (or was it Eugenie?) live there, they had no problem at all that the young lady was living there for free.

Conversely, their critics had nettles in their underwear when Harry and Meghan moved into their Montecito house. They criticized them for being "rich" and implied that the Sussexes were living in real estate that was too expensive - completely overlooking the fact that the royal family owned 100 times more premium real estate all over England, Scotland and Wales that was significantly more expensive than the Sussex's Montecito house.

The Sussexes need to stop giving a crap what these people say and think.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex would obviously do well as a fashion designer's muse but she also needs to bring out her own line of clothing, shoes and accessories (bags, jewelry). She could also do a line of skincare products because look at her! She is over 40 and looks like she is 23! She can create a line of skincare that would just fly off the shelves (assuming she does not price the ordinary people out of the market like Brad Pitt did with his Le Domaine line)

It is surprising that the Duchess of Sussex has not already done so, but she probably is wary of her critics and thus, is holding herself back. But she has to understand that she does not owe them any explanations. They have chased her out of England and out of the royal family so they have no say about what she does to put food on her table.

It is clear for everyone that Meghan has a lot of haters and they do not wish her well, and they want to reduce her to her least common denominator. It is also clear that she wants to be very careful about how "rich" she appears to get because she cares about what people think about her net worth.

She needs to get over that. It is very naive and short-sighted of her. She does not know what the future holds and she therefore should take care of her financial life when she can. It does not matter who thinks being financially abundant makes her a "bad" person. They think she is a "bad" person anyway no matter what she does so she should take care of herself and let them talk all they want.

With all that said, Meghan wore Paul Andrew pumps to the Queen's funeral and this went viral on social media. Paul Andrew designs for Ferragamo and is based in New York.

According to Footwearnews.com

"Andrew’s footwear — relaunched this February, following a brief hiatus during his tenure as creative director of Ferragamo — gained high interest when viewers spotted Markle’s soles sporting his overlapping “PA” logo. Though some speculated it was a traditional symbol of some kind, it was ultimately deduced that the monogram simply marked the shoes as Andrew’s design, according to Birmingham Live."

This collaboration is only one of the collabs that Meghan should do. She can do a line of jewelry, handbags, and clothing - both leisure and more elegant pieces. She can even do a line of hats.

The great thing about any collab she does, she can give up to 50 percent of her profits to charities. And she can create jobs for others too, who otherwise would not have a job were it not for her and her brand.
