On Harry and Meghan Holding Hands and Other Public Displays of Affection

Harry and Meghan love to hold each other's hands. This tendency tends to drive some people crazy. It is not clear why this is so because the Sussexes are clearly couple goals for a lot of people.

The public scorn and criticism heaped on Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex could lead them to rethink this simple, romantic gesture. They should never succumb, however, to this hazing. The goal of the hazers is to break the will not only of them as individuals, but of their couple. Paradoxically, because of the intense hazing that Harry and Meghan continue to endure on a daily basis, their couple needs a large amount of romantic gestures and thoughtfulness from both of them, to flourish, thrive and survive.

Harry and Meghan should think of their couple as a tree or plant. It needs regular and daily care in order to flourish and survive. In a garden, it might be safe but it also might be subject to abuse from pests or unthoughtful humans who walk in the garden and trample the flowers. These two have to be their own mindful gardener of their relationship. They have to protect the relationship from pests, parasites, and unthoughtful humans.

Their public displays of affection are reaffirming and by being anti-fragile in the face of hazing and bullying, they and their relationship grow stronger. It is absolutely essential that they continue to hold hands together while in public. They must continue to defy their enemies and they must continue to defend their couple.

Of course, they must be tasteful about what types of public displays of affection they engage in. And so far, they have been exactly correct in the type and the amount. They should continue to hold each other's hands and let the world know that they and their couple are unbreakable. Eventually, they may even start a trend in the royal family. You may find that other members of the family begin to hold hands like Harry and Meghan.
