How to Dress Like the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle Even When you are Kate Middleton

Meghan Duchess of Sussex is a Fashion Star!  Meghan Duchess of Sussex is a gorgeous girl with great style. It is not easy to pin down her exact look in one word so I call her style "Catholic School Girl Meets Hollywood."  There are certain basics in Meghan's closet. Meghan loves a tailored coatdress.  Cashmere sweaters. Long skirts. Frills. Skinny black pantsuits. Fine jewelry. Stilettos. Long double-breasted wool coats. Chic little handbags by Mulberry, Dior, Fendi, Givenchy and Aspinal of London. Cool jeans. Green frocks. A lot of women love Meghan's style and she has spawned many copycats. I can tell you that her sister-in-law Kate Middleton loves Meghan's style because you can almost predict that days after Meghan wears a certain look, color, or cut, Kate will show up in something similar in her very next public outing. This is not a bad thing necessarily because imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If Meghan was not dressing in a way appropriate for a

The Sussex Empire: Are the Sussexes on Tap to Become the First Royal Self-Made Billionaires?

PRINCE HARRY AND PRINCESS MEGHAN HAVE A VERY VALUABLE BRAND AND THEY COULD BECOME THE FIRST SELF-MADE BILLIONAIRES IN THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR The value of the Harry and Meghan's Brand is trending upward despite the best-laid plans of their critics and enemies. The couple are fighters, first of all, and they are fighting tooth and nail to own their own narrative and defend the reputation of their brand. Some believe that they are nothing without their royal titles attached to their names but they are a valuable brand with or without royal titles. Their foundation, Archewell, for example, has nothing at all that is "royal" about it. There is no doubt that Harry and Meghan have many admirers who believe in their brand and for this reason, the couple are poised to create many income-producing products and services that will catapult them to the financial apex known as the Forbes List of Billionaires before long. It is not that the British royal family is not already obscenely

Meghan: The "Influencer" Princess

Meghan Duchess of Sussex is an Influencer Princess. So what? Princess Meghan is an influencer and she has never denied it, or tried to shy away from it. One could say that Meghan was born an influencer. We saw how at 11 years old, she set out to "influence" the way that the media and advertisers viewed women and moms. She has never stopped exerting her influence since those early days.  Through her work with the UN, as well as her blog The Tig, and with her endorsement deals and her work as an actor, she has continued this trend of being an influencer. She leads by example, one could say. Now that she and Harry have married and have created their foundation Archewell, her opportunities for being an influencer have stratospherically multiplied. Some people see that as a negative. One YouTuber claimed that Duchess Meghan is "bringing down the Monarchy" by lowering herself to influencer status and reverting to her pre-Duchess days. But is that a fair criticism? Who,

Meghan Markle's Mother Doria Ragland

Meghan Markle's Mother Doria Ragland is a very mysterious woman. She is mysterious because she keeps her tongue between her teeth. She says very little. So people do not know who she is and what she is made of. This is a very good thing for Duchess Meghan. The last thing she needs is a mother who is set on hanging her out to dry. Unfortunately, some mothers in Doria's place would have sold out the Duchess long ago. Because you can be sure that Doria has been offered a ton of money for interviews and scoops about her child by more than one media outlet. But to her credit, she has yet to cave in. Ditto for the Duchess' ex husband Trevor, by the way. Although, he is rumored to be working on a sensationalized version of their life together in a tabloid-friendly book, so if that is so, one can only hope to God that Doria Ragland never follows suit. The Duchess and her mom seem to have an excellent relationship. Was their relationship always smooth without problems and issues? W

So How Come Kate Middleton and Kensington Palace Never Denied Meghan's Revelations that the Princess of Wales Made Her Cry Just Before Her 2018 Wedding to Prince Harry?

IT IS VERY CURIOUS THAT KENSINGTON PALACE NEVER DENIED THAT KATE MADE MEGHAN CRY, ISN'T IT?  This morning I was watching one of the usual suspects talking about Meghan and the speaker said Meghan allegedly invited Kate Middleton to her podcast, Archetypes, but that the Princess of Wales turned down the Duchess of Sussex. And they had a good laugh, as if Kate is so superior to Meghan and has been so much more accomplished than Meghan, that the notion of being on Meghan's podcast is hilarious.  Even assuming the Duchess of Sussex did invite her sister-in-law to her podcast in the first place and this is not just a silly rumor, I frankly think that Kate should be flattered. She, Kate, is not better than Meghan. She has not achieved anything better than Meghan except she married a man who will inherit the British throne, not by merit, but by nepotism. And I say this will all due deference to their titles and positions, but don't get ahead of yourselves thinking Kate would be do

Meghan Duchess of Sussex Always Hits Her Targets

#meghanshusband Did the Duchess of Sussex "Target" Prince Harry?   Meghan the Duchess of Sussex is a winner. She usually gets what she wants. Some people condemn her for this. They say she is "pushy" and they say she "targets" men and they say she is a narcissist who only thinks of herself.  These are not surprising adjectives for a woman like Meghan Duchess of Sussex. She appears to have a strategy for her life, she sets targets and goals, and she goes after her targets with gusto. She probably would be a little bit less successful if she did not set targets and goals, and this might make her more likable and less threatening to her critics. But why would she underperform on purpose to make her enemies happy? One media Youtuber who shall remain nameless had the biggest hissy fit the other day because she claims that Meghan "targeted" Harry and then got him to marry her. This person seems to know very little about men. A woman cannot get a man to

First Kick Her Out of the Palace, Then Out of England, Then Take Her Titles, Then Take Harry - in That Order.

This attack on Meghan has been orchestrated and planned by powerful people and will not stop till Harry divorces her Do Harry and Meghan Need the Headaches of Royal Titles? (meghanandharryadvisors.blogspot.com) It just came to me in an epiphany. Meghan should not voluntarily give up her titles because she would be falling right into the trap laid for her by her enemies. This is all a planned initiative to undo the marriage between Meghan and Harry and get Meghan out of the royal family. She was never accepted. Not in a true, genuine, and deep way. There was a superficial appearance of acceptance but the speed with which that became unglued speaks volumes.  They barely gave her one chance, never mind the thousands of chances you give to someone you love.  The first thing they did was get her out of Kensington Palace. They spread rumors about her to the press and they harassed her, and they made her feel unwelcome and drove her to the edge of suicide. So she ran for her life, and she an

The "Heir and the Spare" is a Toxic Sibling Dynamic. How Sick and Oblivious Can Parents Be?

Parents Need to do a Better Job of Protecting Kids From Toxic Sibling Dynamics That the British royal family still practices this "heir and spare" religion is beyond the pale. How can people in this day and age encourage this kind of toxic relationship between their children and then turn around and get upset when the children are not happy?  How oblivious do you have to be to see that this dynamic is toxic and not in the best interest of your children? How dysfunctional do you have to be? Sure the public loves it because the whole thing is theatre to them. It is not their life. What the hell do they care how the spare feels? The "Spare" is not even a person to them. He or she is an idea, and object of their gaping and ridicule and amusement. What the hell do they care? But you would expect parents to care and you would expect in 2022 that they would put a stop to this nonsense. The whole entire premise upon which the monarchy is based is archaic and toxic and not

Dear Meghan and Harry: At the End of a Storm is a Golden Sky...

Dear Meghan and Harry, I know you have been in a storm for years now. Did you anticipate it? Nothing like a bad storm that takes you by surprise to warp you for life. But if you anticipate it, you can plan for it, and you can get through it, almost unscathed, and then, there will be this big, beautiful, golden sky with a rainbow attached waiting for you.  The key is to survive the storm. Not everyone does. What can you do to make sure you survive? Well, respect that storm for what it is, find something to hang on to, and hold fast. Sincerely, Your friend from 10,000 miles away. image credit flickr creative commons SUBSCRIBE TO OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

Do Harry and Meghan Need the Headaches of Royal Titles?

Harry and Meghan have been absolutely besieged about the titles they were gifted by the late Queen Elizabeth. The media has been absolutely relentless. My big thing is that they don't need those titles to succeed and thrive. They can still live rewarding, fulfilled, and happy lives and raise well-adjusted children without being called "Duke and Duchess".  On the one hand, I am loathed to advise giving in to these people. I want to say hold on to the titles just to make them nuts. And maybe this is the right move because backing down all the time just makes you a victim. But on the other hand, the titles are nothing. It's all semantics, optics, and puffery. It blows like the wind and can change at any minute.  The thing is, millions of people in the world do not have titles, and they are perfectly fine. Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates and Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez don't have "titles."  So what? Titles make them superior? Is that it? It just seems such

Duchess Meghan Talks About the "Good Wife" and the "Good Mom" Stereotypes

What is a good wife? What is a good mom? A lot of married women and mothers feel a lot of guilt and angst about their roles as wives and mothers. The Duchess of Sussex is no different. On her podcast Archetypes, she discusses the challenges many women face in these roles, and to some extent, her own personal challenges. And she shared a little bit about a typical day in her life , which was really cool. She describes it as a whirlwind, and it sounded a little bit more frantic than I had imagined when I wrote the post linked above. Because I never even took into account her four dogs! In the podcast, the Duchess discusses how helpful her husband the Duke of Sussex is, in helping her with the morning frenzy and taking care of the kids. The way she says "my husband" is so adorable. You can tell how much she loves and respects this man. Some women have criticized her for always referring to her mate in this way, as "my husband." I think it is very beautiful. Harry als

Meghan and Harry Need to do what makes THEM Happy and Ignore the Critics COMPLETELY

IGNORE THE CRITICS HARRY AND MEGHAN: DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!!! A wise man says that opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has one. This is so true. And when it comes to Meghan and Harry's critics and trolls, it is almost as if they each have multiple buttholes that spew nothing but toxic waste into the stratosphere. How indelicate, I know. 😄😄😄 But it is what it is, isn't it?  A very indelicate state of affairs. What I have personally noticed is that Harry and Meghan can do NOTHING right where their critics are concerned. No matter which way they lean, they are wrong. So they take a private jet, they are hypocrites who talk about the environment and then pollute the environment. They fly commercial, they are slumming at the back of the plane near the toilets. They live on the taxpayer's dime at Frogmore cottage, they are grifters who are living on the taxpayer's dime. They leave Frogmore cottage and go off seeking financial independence, they are traitors who are ma

Do Meghan and Harry Feel "Lucky" or "Unlucky"?

20 Reasons that Meghan and Harry are Lucky  Meghan and Harry have been through a lot since they got married to each other. I would not be shocked if they feel they have had a lot of "bad luck." I mean, what did not go wrong? Kate made her cry and everybody blamed Meghan for making Kate cry. The courtiers made Meghan feel less than welcome to the point that she fled England. Trolls continue to attack her online because of her race and other things. She and Harry fell into their hands with the Oprah interview (which the trolls use as an excuse for their hate, even though they hated her before she did the interview and the interview was done to explain to them why they should not hate her.) They flew to Canada and the Canadians complained about paying for their security. Then they bought a beautiful house and the pipes don't work. And of course, the miscarriage. And the situation with her father. And Harry's situation with his father. And the Queen. And all the rest of i

Should Meghan Settle the lawsuit with Samantha Markle?

No, Meghan Should Not Settle the Lawsuit that Samantha Markle Brought Against her for Defamation Why not? It would set the wrong precedent. Look, generally, I don't believe that lawsuits brought in bad faith should be settled. I am of the school of thought that most cases should settle if they can, and statistics show that 97 percent of cases settle before a judge decides who wins. But in this case, Duchess Meghan should absolutely call Samantha Markle's bluff. And she should ask the court to have Samantha pay for costs and attorneys fees. Do I think this lawsuit was filed in bad faith? You know what, that is not even relevant. Whatever faith it was brought in, good or bad, I think it would be a mistake on Duchess Meghan's part to settle this case because it could open up a floodgate of litigants against her, and it could also inspire Samantha Markle and others in her family to keep Duchess Meghan locked up in court proceedings for one thing or the next, till the end of t

Should Meghan, Duchess of Sussex Trademark her Name?

A lot of celebrities have applied for trademark protection for their names or the names of their children. The reason they do this is to prevent people from using their names for commercial or nefarious purposes. It is not easy to get a trademark for your name unless you are going to use it in business, and unless you can show that your name is so unique that people associate it specifically with you as a personality or celebrity or something like that. The good thing about trademarking your name, if you can get it, is that it prevents people from profiting by using your name in a nefarious manner. You just sue them for trademark infringement. So, for example, a lot of those hashtags that are so insulting, demeaning, and toxic towards Meghan might rightfully be asked to be taken down, if she has a trademark for the name MEGHAN MARKLE or MEGHAN DUCHESS OF SUSSEX.  Now, the fact that the latter is a title given to her by a British monarch (and one that can be taken away from her) might

Camilla Queen Consort Flies to India Without Charles for Help With Dealing With Harry's Book Reveals

Is Queen Camilla Experiencing Anticipatory Burnout because of Prince Harry's Book?  Why did Camilla go to an Indian spa alone, without Charles, just a few weeks after he becomes the oldest monarch to accede to the British throne? It is very, very interesting that she felt she needed time away from her husband at this specific and particular time, isn't it? Very interesting. Is it that she is burntout by all the festivities? Or is it to prepare her body for the onslaught to come, and the family dramas to come, from Prince Harry's memoirs?  According to press reports, the Queen consort is at a spa called S oukya Holistic Health Center which is near Bangalore, India. She is there  to get help with detoxing, de-stressing, and rejuvenating herself. At this holistic spa, h er mind, body, and spirit were refreshed and renewed by a Harvard-trained specialist. She gets to eat local food and enjoy yoga, massages, and meditation. She even visited a tree she had planted, according to t

Meghan Markle Said: "I am Particular". What Does She Mean?

What Does Duchess Meghan Mean When She Says "I am Particular" In one of her podcasts, I believe it was the one about the "angry black woman" trope, Meghan Duchess of Sussex revealed that she is "particular". And several articles about that popped up around the Internet. Most of these tried to turn what the Duchess said into a negative and used it as a way to criticize the Duchess. But I don't think the Duchess meant anything negative by the statement. Here are 10 ways that I interpreted what she said:  1. I have individuality What the Duchess meant when she says she is "particular" is that there are things and situations and people with which and whom she is inclined to express her individuality and insist on her individuality. She is not a part of a monolith. She is "particular." Every human is "particular." And every human is an individual and should be treated as an individual by others, rather than being relegated to

Meghan Duchess of Sussex is 43 percent Nigerian - Is her Father a little bit "black"???

Meghan's Genetic Makeup Suggests Her Dad Could be a Little Bit African!   Wow! When Meghan revealed that she is 43 percent Nigerian, my jaw dropped. Why? I am not even sure. It just dropped. I would say that is a high percentage of one ethnicity. So it means that her mother was 100% Nigerian, or that her Father has a little bit of Nigerian in him!  Which would be crazy. But not that crazy because Thomas Markle has a very African nose. Have you noticed? Meghan's dad's features - except for his skin complexion - are very African. Meghan inherited her father's nose, and so did her daughter Lilibet. Where would Thomas Markle have gotten such a big, broad, flat nose? Europeans do not usually have such big noses. Their noses are usually pointed. Not that it cannot happen. My own mother who is totally African has a very pointed nose. So, Caucasians can have flat or broad noses without having African DNA and Africans can have pointed noses without having European DNA.  But it

Are Meghan and Harry Going to Adopt Nigerian Baby?

I have not heard any rumors about this, but I was wondering myself if the Sussexes are thinking of expanding their family via adoption and if so, whether they would adopt an African baby, and if so, would that be a Nigerian baby?  Obviously, Meghan and Harry should not feel any pressure to expand their family. It is sort of like Meghan Markle's hair. Everyone wants to tell her what to do with her own hair and I hate that. So it is not that I am telling her what to do with her family. That is their decision completely. Having children and taking care of them is a huge job and commitment and only those who are equipped, and willing, ready and able should get involved even with biological children. So, adoption is a very serious matter.  And it is not enough that Meghan and Harry have the financial means. They have to want to be adoptive parents and they have to want to expand their brood. I am just musing aloud.  It would be very, very interesting if they did something like that...

Why Does the Royal Family Treat Harry as if he Committed a Crime by Marrying Meghan Markle?

Is it me, or does Prince Harry get the criminal treatment from his family? It seems like the royal family goes out of its way to class Harry with Prince Andrew, who paid millions of pounds to settle a lawsuit that he sexually interfered with a female minor many years before his marriage to Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.  Notably, Prince Andrew denied the charges but he nevertheless forked over millions of pounds when the woman brought suit in New York for damages.  While this payment does not indicate his guilt, it suggests that there was enough to the lawsuit that could have made it appear that he was, in fact, guilty as charged. And this is a very serious matter. Another of his cronies, a woman named Ghislaine is serving twenty years in prison for providing the girls that Andrew and his friend Jeffrey Epstein have been accused to have assaulted. So this is very, very serious. That Andrew was mixed up with that kind of crowd is truly stunning and the accusations by this woman who

Do Harry and Meghan Compete With Each Other?

Will the Sussexes Begin to Compete With Each Other? Harry and Meghan are two very high-profile people and they are what everybody is talking about right now. They are the hot couple, or the hottest couple not only in Hollywood but also in the British Royal Family. They dominate the conversation on both coasts, let's face it.  They are equally exciting and interesting, and they are equally sought after. This is great, but it could also become problematic if they are not careful. Blame the divorce lawyer in me for being so cautious. But I have seen where couples blow up because both of them got into competition with each other. The complication here is that Meghan is a strong woman and she was destined for stardom, and she wants her stardom. Harry has always been the star. He was born into it. He did not have to work for it or suffer for it. And he expects it to continue. It is just in his blood at this point. With each rise of Meghan's stardom, Harry could feel increasingly th

Harry's Memoir to be released on January 10, 2023!

According to the New York Times, People.com and Page Six, Prince Harry's memoir will be released by Penguin Random House on January 10 2023. Now we can all wait with bated breath to get our grubby little paws on it. Many people expect the prince to trash his family - especially Camilla, his stepmother.  It would not come as a big shock if Harry felt a little bit negative about Camilla. After all, look what Camilla did to Harry's mother, Diana, who was a quintessential British princess . It was not fabulous. It is unclear whether the Duke and his father's second wife get along in light of the checkered past. And there are questions about whether Camilla was doing enough to heal the rift between Harry and Charles, to wit:  Could Camilla Be Instigating Friction Between King Charles III and His Son Harry Duke of Sussex? (meghanandharryadvisors.blogspot.com)   Prince Harry's memoir will be  a blockbuster any way you cut it. Can't wait.
